Audience: Web designers and IT experts with no advanced programming experience, actually designing, programming and maintaining web-sites, and interested in learning about web authoring techniques and best practices. Basic IT background is required to follow this excellent technical text.

Contents & Review: This excellent book is a technical reference for all who need to use Perl. It is a reference that includes valuable explanation and examples on how to write a imple search engine, form processing CGIs, convert multiple text files into HTML files, monitor log files, track user navigation at a particular site, and several useful, tested examples.

Web designers and authors will find this text useful for checking web-site inks, for batch editing html files and as a basis for writing an advanced site-search engine.

The conclusion is that if you are interested in a good technical text that covers Perl, and Perl programming, than this is an excellent reference and resource.

The Appendix contains a useful summary of Perl code.
