The aims and outcomes of this laboratory are as follows:
- Help students to learn how to innovate and become entrepeneurs in a global environment, following our integrated product / process / service process modeling, requirements analysis, risk analysis and computer graphics in IE methods
- Support and assess in detail our set objectives (see main syllabus for more)
- Support and assess our continuous quality improvement processes
- Help our students to become market-driven professional engineers, and simultaneously assess these objectives and activities using real-world, practical exercises
- Learn how to map analytical skills into practical work, and then document such activities for learning and assessment on the web
- Foster teamwork; help to collaboratively assess teamwork effectiveness, team dynamics and quality
- Help and assess our efforts to become better communicators
